What kind of game is it? Worlds Adrift is the ultimate sandbox. In the MMO by Bossa Studios, you wander through an almost endless world full of floating islands.
On this, you research new technologies and build more or less magnificent airships. You then explore the rest of the world, alone or together with other players.
A special sandbox
The special thing about Worlds Adrift: Most of the islands you can explore were created by players and uploaded into the game. The game is therefore a collective work of the community and the developers.
The first game with SpatialOS: In addition, Worlds Adrift uses the promising MMO wonder technology SpatialOS. This allows for a cloud-based server structure, which is ideal for open worlds with massive numbers of players. Worlds Adrift is currently the first game to use this technology.
Early Access launched on Steam
Anyone who wants to check out Worlds Adrift can now get the game on Steam in Early Access. Until now, Worlds Adrift was only available in the closed alpha, now anyone interested in sandbox MMOs and airships can obtain it.
