The Polish streamer Sidneuke gained tragic fame with a clip on Twitter on February 17. During an IRL stream on Twitch, she looked at her smartphone and ended up running over a dog. As she continued driving, she complained about the free-running dogs and their owners. Millions of viewers are appalled.

- The Polish streamer Sidneuke is sitting in her car, filming herself and looking at a phone in her hand (via twitter). She says: ‘Jesus, how many dogs are out here? Some of them must be in heat.’
- Then the streamer looks at her phone when she suddenly gets startled as the car jolts. She exclaims: ‘I ran over a dog! Shit, I ran over a dog. That’s a dog.’
- One can see her getting out of the car and looking around.
Streamer blames dog owners
What did she do after the accident? According to reports, she continued driving after running over the dog. There is no clip of that. The Twitch stream is no longer accessible.
However, there is another clip that shows her during the drive after the accident (via twitter). There, she speaks into the camera and blames the dog owners for the accident: The dogs should never be allowed to run free, but they are constantly on the street. Dogs should not be free, that is wrong and against the law. You cannot leave dogs unattended.

What consequences does the clip have?
- Twitch has banned the streamer Sidneuke. The duration of the ban is unknown; some outraged viewers hope ‘forever’.
- There is worldwide reporting about the incident – British, Polish, French, and American sites are reporting on the incident.
- Clips of the incident on Twitter have already reached millions of views; many users are extremely upset about the woman’s behavior. One user asks: ‘Did she even bother to look for the dog?’
As the site Unilad reports, a Polish animal protection agency has also begun an investigation and intends to hand the case over to the public prosecutor’s office to file charges.
It is stated: Although it is unequivocally correct that dogs should not run freely. But if you notice that, you must stop the car and react. That is a social duty.
