The former Overwatch pro Félix “xQc” Lengyel is one of the biggest streamers on Twitch. In September, he announced his split from the streamer Sammy aka “Adeptthebest”, and since then he has been followed by rumors and speculation. Videos about his relationships have gone viral on TikTok, which are so absurd that even the talkative xQc was left speechless.
What split is being talked about? From 2021 to September 2022, xQc and the streamer Adept were a couple. Then he made their separation public, despite her requesting privacy. This led to a huge argument during a live stream.
Meanwhile, Adept and xQc seem to have reconciled, but the rumor mill keeps churning with new information: it is said that Adept still lives in xQc’s old house, his expensive luxury car is registered in her name, and he also had to cancel his credit cards.
But although xQc appears annoyed by the constant rumors, he cannot help but respond to the latest videos and memes regarding his breakup.
TikTok user claims xQc has been taken advantage of and cheated on
What were those videos? In a stream on November 19, xQc came across a viral TikTok video with over 1.3 million views. In the video, the TikToker xmukitty analyzed the breakup of xQc and Adept and explained: they had no prenup, which is why Adept now has a claim to xQc’s property (via Twitch).
Men could learn a lot from the situation, the video states. Adept took the house, the car, and all his food after the breakup; only his cat was allowed to stay with xQc. The TikToker warns: “Be careful as a hard-working man or woman when you enter a relationship. Because they can take everything from you.”
Minutes later, xQc discovered another video from the same TikTok user. In it, she explained that the streamer Nyyxxii, with whom he had a brief relationship in early November, cheated on him. The video referred to a kiss between Nyyxxii and another woman, but xQc had a completely different view of the situation.
How did xQc react? The streamer was initially taken aback. Apparently, he was completely dumbfounded by what he learned about his own relationship. “What the hell am I even watching?” he exclaimed. “How can this even be?”
xQc could not comprehend the success of the video: “It has 150k likes, how the hell is that – is this a joke?”
The second video seemed to take the rest out of xQc. “The internet has gone too far. It’s time to step back,” the streamer demanded.
Better to appear spineless than risk trouble
This is what xQc says about the situation: The streamer explained that there are simply certain things he cannot talk about publicly.
I don’t want to burn everything to the ground. It’s just not worth it. If the only negative is that I look spineless, then that’s fine, I can live with that.
So xQc apparently prefers that jokes about his relationships are made at his expense than to be the villain. Perhaps he also doesn’t want to jeopardize the shaky peace between him and Adept.
At least one positive thing xQc could take from the videos on TikTok. When the account holder stated that xQc was her absolute favorite streamer, he couldn’t help but crack a proud grin.
When xQc is not dealing with relationship stress, he has to justify why he doesn’t pay his moderators on Twitch:
