In the action RPG Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem, you can play several classes thanks to the complex skill mechanics and various weapons without switching heroes. Here we show you a simple build for warriors who like to deal damage.
We have already introduced you to a cool Pestlord build for the mage by YouTuber Vulkan. Today it’s the warrior’s turn with a blade storm build. Easy to learn yet strong. If you prefer playing with a bow, check out the Frost Ranger.
Good AOE Build in Wolcen
These are your main attributes
- Wildness: Increases your chance for critical hits and spells.
- Wisdom: Increases the status effect chance of your attacks and spells.
For each level you ascend, you have 10 points to distribute. Wildness is your absolute priority, so invest 9 points here and 1 in Wisdom. Every four or five levels, you can also invest 2 to 3 points in Wisdom. The entire build focuses on critical hits and causing bleed effects. So pay attention to the distribution of Wildness > Wisdom > Toughness > Agility.
These are your talents
- Bloody Cut: Throws an axe that causes damage and tears opponents apart.
- Sovereign Cry: Increases the melee and spell speed of the entire group.
- Blood for Blood: AOE effect that increases your bleed damage when you or your opponent are not at full health. Can also be applied to opponents.
- Wings of Ishmir: Jumps with your weapon to your target location and causes damage on impact. Can also be used for escape.
- Blade Storm: Summons a great sword and spins through hordes of enemies.
How to modify your abilities: The more you use a skill, the higher its level rises and can be modified. This can even happen multiple times. Your abilities in the Blade Storm build will be adjusted so that the otherwise stationary AOE effects move with you. In our gallery, we provide an overview:

How to use the Blade Storm build in Wolcen
At the beginning of a fight, use the ability Wings of Ishmir to generate rage and get the first strike on enemies. Then use Blade Storm and slice through the hordes of monsters. Use Bloody Cut and Blood for Blood when stronger creatures like bosses or champions appear. Sovereign Cry is suitable for group play and buffs all characters.
