The current weekend from March 31 to April 2 is almost too nice for gaming due to its beautiful weather, but by the evening it should be time for extensive gaming sessions. Especially fans of monster brawling and melee slaughter should get their money’s worth this weekend.
Weekend Events – Death or Devil?
Two games are particularly worth it this weekend. On one hand, the brutal sword-fighting MMO For Honor from Ubisoft. There is again a Champion Status Weekend, where you can snag more experience points for your victories. Ideal for leveling up your heroes and collecting loot.
If you prefer to kick the devil in the red butt, log into Diablo 3 and throw yourself into the chaos of the tenth season. This time you can loot super rare and super powerful ancient items, and even console players can join for the first time.

The team from Mein-MMO is gaming even in nice weather! Here you can see what keeps us in dark gaming rooms this weekend:
- Master Schuhmann is playing Final Fantasy 14 again this weekend and preparing like a diligent beaver for Stormblood. When the grind gets too boring for him, he relaxes with a few rounds of Hearthstone and collects his daily loot.
- Colleague Ttime prefers to sharpen the katana and slip into the Orochi armor. Because he wants to make full use of the champion status in For Honor this weekend and golden his epic slaughters with even more XP. Destiny is, of course, also being played.
- Leya, on the other hand, can’t get enough of Paladins and is playing the HiRez Overwatch competitor again this weekend. Preferably with her favorite character Evie and the new hero Lex. She will also be joining SMITE again. By the way, we have a cool giveaway for skins for Anubis and Isis.
- Cortyn has returned to the Nether after a trip to the Andromeda Galaxy and has returned to Azeroth in World of Warcraft. There, our local succubus is prowling around in the form of a Draenei priestess at the shattered coast, infiltrating unsuspecting groups of heroes. And even if she finds the coast stupid, she will still keep playing.
- Patrick, on the other hand, has made a pact with the devil! In exchange for additional Pokémon, he has to play every season of Diablo 3 when it comes out. Therefore, he is glued to his PC the whole weekend and has to face the hellish legions in the tenth season of Diablo 3.
Only missing is little old me, Jürgen: This weekend I will definitely continue playing Mass Effect Andromeda. Because even though Ryder has a pancake face and nothing better came out in the editor, I have really grown fond of the anti-Shepard heroine with her rough humor. And the exploring-and-researching gameplay of Andromeda fits, in my opinion, perfectly to a science fiction RPG in a foreign galaxy, while it bothered me a lot in Dragon Age: Inquisition.
But I will also play a bit of For Honor and also grab the new goodies at Hearthstone. Because there is always time for a round of card bashing, and you can play it outside on the tablet!
