In Wizards Unite, you can now send gifts! Thus, Niantic is also utilizing an existing feature from Pokémon GO, but does it much better.
This is the new feature: Anyone with some friends in Wizards Unite can now gift them. You can also open gifts from friends. This works all similarly to Pokémon GO.
However, fans of Pokémon GO look enviously at this new feature, as the mechanics are significantly better and meet the wishes of the Pokémon community.
This makes Wizards Unite better than Pokémon GO
This is how the feature works: In Wizards Unite, you now have a direct overview of all interactions with friends. You can see which friends can still receive gifts and which gifts you can still open.

Generally, it is very clear and organized here. You can perform important interactions with just a few clicks.
This is how it is currently in Pokémon GO: The gifting feature in Pokémon GO is a bit more chaotic. To see if you can still send a gift to a player, you need to click on the character.
You also cannot sort friends who do not have a gift yet. Generally, this involves many clicks, and if you want to send 10 gifts, it can often take several minutes.
This is what players are criticizing now: Fans of Pokémon GO looks enviously over to Wizards Unite. They wonder why Pokémon GO doesn’t get an overhaul of this feature.
Many players feel that it is hardly noticeable that Niantic develops both games. Wizards Unite listens much more to the community and the wishes of the players. Pokémon GO, on the other hand, does not. An overhaul has been long desired, but instead, it is coming to Wizards Unite.
Recently, there was already criticism when Wizards Unite received a start button for battles in fortresses. Such a button has been long desired in Pokémon GO raids.
What do you think? Would you also wish for an overhaul of the gifts?
