With Patch 11.1.5 for World of Warcraft, the so-called “Puzzling Cartel Chips” are coming to Azeroth. Those in possession of these tokens can simply choose their Epic from the current raid.
What are these chips? The new “Puzzling Cartel Chips” are coming to Azeroth with WoW Patch 11.1.5 and take over the function of the Dinars from the Shadowlands expansion (which already made a comeback in Dragonflight). In other words, if you own such a chip, you can exchange it for a specific loot item from the current raid “Liberation of Lorenhall”.
Originally, the “Puzzling Cartel Chips” were supposed to be tied to the faction “Garbagio Loyalty Club”. You would have received these with reputation levels 17 and 19 (via icy-veins.com). However, when they come into the game with the upcoming update, the reputation requirement will be removed, allowing all players equal access to the chips.

Puzzling Cartel Chips – What else is known?
Where do I get the chips? That is now the big question, for which there unfortunately is no answer yet. It is also unclear whether Blizzard will introduce a cap for the new currency. Currently, it seems you can possess an unlimited number of “Puzzling Cartel Chips”.
In Season 4 of WoW: Dragonflight, players could earn one Dinar per week, connected with an increasing cap. It is quite possible that Blizzard will proceed similarly this time.
What is clear, however, is that once you own a chip, you must bring it to Ando. You can find the goblin in the instance “Liberation of Lorenhall”, and he will grant you access to your desired loot from the raid. Thus, the chips once again provide a nice way to fill gaps in one’s gear and mitigate the factor of bad luck.
What else does Patch 11.1.5 bring? The interim patch has, in addition to the “Puzzling Cartel Chips”, also the comeback of the Disturbing Visions, the new glory faction Nightfall, adjustments to the Children’s Week, and the boss event “Cunning Duos” in tow.
So far, there is no release date. However, the release candidate is already live on the PTR, which suggests a timely launch. Additionally, the Children’s Week is expected to start on April 28, 2025. Since the patch brings various adjustments for the event, it must be released beforehand.
