In Destiny 2, a new Warlock Exotic from Shadowkeep has been discovered – and many Guardians are currently mocking it.
What is this Exotic? Currently, the gaming convention PAX West is taking place in Seattle, where Bungie has some booths. Curious Guardians can try out fresh content from the Fall expansion Shadowkeep and Season 8.
A clever Guardian discovered a new Warlock Exotic there, took a photo of it, and posted it on reddit.
- It is an exotic chest piece for the Warlock
- The name is “Stormdancer’s Brace”
- It is an Exotic tailored for Stormcallers
- It is expected to come into play with the Shadowkeep expansion

Exotic has space for some cans of beer
Guardians are mocking this: This Exotic is currently causing quite a stir on reddit – mainly because of its appearance.
“It looks like he’s using a six-pack of Bud Light as armor,” jokes one Guardian. Another adds: “I always wanted a Warlock with a belt that has space for his Bud Light cans.”
This Exotic has the Warlock strapped with some energy rods that look like beer cans. Since Bud Light beer is sold in blue cans, many players are laughing about the fact that the Warlock probably enjoys drinking Bud Light.
Some Guardians are already hoping for an emote where the Warlock takes a can from his armor and takes a few sips.
If you’re preparing for a fun gaming night in Shadowkeep, you can soon dress your Guardian accordingly. And generally, the armor doesn’t look so bad, several users agree.
“A chest piece that can carry a whole six-pack of Bud Lights? Nice!” summarizes one Guardian all the jokes.
This ensures that the Warlock won’t go into the upcoming challenges thirsty. Even if it gives the impression of having a slight alcohol problem…
Already with another Shadowkeep armor, the Warlock looks a bit unfortunate.
What can this Exotic even do?
This is the exotic perk: Every enemy you defeat with the Stormtrance super increases the damage you deal with Stormtrance.
Guardians are currently unsure how useful this will be. It probably depends heavily on how significant the damage increase will be.
Currently, the Crown of Storms is a good Exotic for Stormcallers that extends the duration of the super on kills. It likely depends on the situation whether more damage or a longer duration of the Stormtrance super is better.
Several Guardians agree that the damage boost must be considerable if this Exotic is to be useful in practice.
