You want to quickly achieve Prestige in Call of Duty: WW2, but don’t know how? With this guide, you’ll get some tips on how to rank up one rank after another.
As soon as a new CoD installment is released towards the end of the year in local and virtual stores, you want to climb the Prestige ladder as quickly as possible. But what’s the point of going Prestige?
Well, for starters, your rank resets to 0, but you also receive Prestige Tokens. With these, you can permanently unlock any weapon or parts of your equipment. Additionally, there are various rewards and challenges. For the first Prestige, the developers gift you a cool helmet.
And those are just a few features that you can unlock in the game. So it’s worth it to achieve Prestige. Here are some tips on how to rank up as quickly as possible.
Going Prestige: Which multiplayer mode should you play?
You earn the most experience points while playing various modes. The more kills you get, the more points you earn. However, you shouldn’t just run around shooting and collecting kills, but also complete the objectives of the respective mode to really rack up points. Here are my favorites where the right play style can rain points down:
- Kill Confirmed: In this classic mode, you rack up a lot of points, provided you diligently collect the tags of fallen soldiers. A kill gives you 50 points and picking up the tag gives you 75 points on top of that. The short rounds help you to collect many points in relatively little time.
- War: In this scenario, it’s about completing various operation objectives. Sometimes you need to repair a bridge, sometimes escort a heavy tank. If you consistently meet the objectives, points pour down. Another advantage: The “Kill-Death-Ratio” you achieve in this mode is not counted in your statistics. So you can play more relaxed and still rank up.
- Domination: In the Domination mode, you fight over an area on the map, which changes position after being captured. Make sure to always operate close to the position to be able to capture it quickly.
- Team Deathmatch: If you don’t want to complete objectives and just like to shoot around, you can also play the traditional Team Deathmatch. While there aren’t as many experience points here, the rounds generally end relatively quickly compared to the above modes.
Use the Headquarters for Orders, Commands, and More!
In the Headquarters, you should go to the Quartermaster and grab new Orders. These grant you a significant amount of experience points along with supply drops. However, these cost armory credits. So think carefully about which orders you can fulfill.
- At Major Howard, you can collect Commands. These give you various experience point boosts for your soldier when fulfilled.
- There are also the so-called Objectives, which are displayed at the top right of the screen. Completing these objectives usually grants you experience points, so get to it.
- Try to log into the Headquarters as often as possible and check for new orders and commands. The good thing about completing tasks: you also receive supply drops in addition to experience points, which may contain further experience point boosts.
Open Crates for Experience Point Boosts and Epic Weapons
Open as many crates as possible. Because when you have enough items for a collection, you’ll receive epic versions of weapons. These in turn grant you an experience point boost. However, this only applies if you get kills with this weapon.
Level Up Your Weapons and Divisions
While leveling up your divisions, you receive additional experience points. If you have the opportunity to set your division to Prestige, I highly recommend it. Although you’ll need to unlock some skills again, leveling up grants you further experience points.
It works similarly for the weapons. Try to get each weapon to max level and always use the option to go Prestige with this weapon. Even unlocking camouflages grants you various experience points.
Therefore, you shouldn’t stick to one weapon, but rather try out the whole range of firearms.
As a little treat, when you first Prestige a weapon, you can put your clan tag on the gun, and when you Prestige a weapon for the second time, you can add a counter for kills.
Challenges
Another way to rank up quickly is by completing challenges.
There are various tasks there, including obtaining a certain number of kills with various weapons. When you complete the challenge, points rain down.
