Ubisoft has announced the PC system requirements for the upcoming shooter Far Cry 5: There are minimum specifications required to run Far Cry 5 and high-end requirements that allow Far Cry 5 to run in 4K at 30 or even 60 FPS.
Graphically, the shooter Far Cry 5 looks good, as can be seen from the screenshots and previous trailers. However, that doesn’t mean that you need a high-end PC to be able to play it.
As Ubisoft has now announced, a mid-range PC is sufficient to meet the minimum requirements. However, those who want to play in 4K at 60 fps will need to have a pretty good PC.

Many settings options on PC
“The PC has always been one of the core elements of the Far Cry DNA, and with Far Cry 5, that becomes clearer than ever,” says Kirill Bragin, producer of the PC version of Far Cry 5. Far Cry 5 will feature a benchmarking tool that allows players to configure their game for the best possible experience. This will be aided by the VRAM usage display and the many options available. It will be possible to customize the aspect ratio, FOV, optional FPS lock, and resolution.
Bragin continues: “However, players will not have to struggle through many calibration menus if they don’t want to. Our game will automatically detect their hardware and make the appropriate settings, as well as optimize the resolution. Additionally, Far Cry 5 will also support multi-GPU functionalities, allowing players to significantly increase performance.”
