Just a few hours ago, the development studio miHoYo released Patch 1.5 for the Free2Play cooperative RPG Genshin Impact (iOS, Android, PS4, PC). With this, an exciting housing feature is introduced to the game.
What’s included in Update 1.5 for Genshin Impact? A whole range of new features came with the update. These include:
- The new housing feature
- Yanfei and Eula as new characters
- New weapons, artifacts, and a related dungeon
- New story quests in the History Antiqua Chapter Act 2
- Additional monsters

- New crafting and decoration system for housing

Get your Teapot House in Genshin Impact
What is the biggest new feature? The housing allows you to acquire your own house through an extensive quest. This is a new gameplay element in Genshin Impact. After obtaining your house, which is located in a teapot by the way, you can furnish it according to your wishes.
In this video, you can see how the quest unfolds:
At the start of the housing system, you have the choice between different “realms” in the teapot, which are structured differently. These include a floating estate, an island, and a mountaintop.
Now you can place objects in the location of your choice. These include buildings, yards, furniture, plants, animals, and more. You can also furnish the interior of your main building accordingly. You can let your imagination and creativity run free.
The new NPC Tubby helps you design your estate according to your ideas.
During your travels through the world of Genshin Impact, you will find blueprints, with which you can build more furniture and more.
What does housing bring? Not only do you engage creatively in expanding your own domicile, but you also gradually earn “Realm Currency”. This currency is used to unlock additional objects for the house or you can exchange the currency with merchants for resources for crafting.
You can invite your friends to your teapot and show off your estate and interact there.
The housing doesn’t affect the story of Genshin Impact, but it represents an interesting new feature with which you can keep yourself creatively occupied for a long time.
How is the new update received by players? Patch 1.5 for Genshin Impact was just released a few hours ago and there were some problems with the download and installation. Therefore, there aren’t many reactions yet. However, we summarize some for you:
