In autumn 2023, the Marvel series Loki will receive a 2nd season. MyMMO editor Marie Friske can hardly wait for the story about the Nordic god to continue after seeing the trailer.
The first season of Loki was able to fully engage me. With the charismatic god of mischief, brilliantly played by Tom Hiddleston, at its center, and the exciting theme of time paradoxes and parallel universes, Loki became my absolute favorite series from Marvel.
Especially the buddy story surrounding the stubborn god and the hardened time agent Mobius made the series incredibly entertaining.
On July 31, 2023, there is a great reason for me to celebrate: The first trailer for the 2nd season of Loki will be released. My anticipation for the continuation is definitely awakened!

In the first season of Loki, especially in the initial episodes, the relationship and collaboration between the Nordic god and the time agent Mobius M. Mobius, played by Owen Wilson, was in the foreground.
Reluctantly, Loki became part of the Time Variance Authority, or TVA, and teamed up with Mobius to hunt down variants that were disrupting the timeline.
While others act reverently in the presence of a Nordic god, Mobius makes curt comments about Loki’s behavior and tells him directly when he has had enough of his ramblings.
At the same time, it becomes clear that his agent colleague and protégé grows on him over time, turning their purely professional collaboration into a genuine friendship.
This character dynamic entertained me greatly in the 1st season. With humorous moments and small nice gestures, it added an emotional component to the series that I can empathize with.

The relationship between Sylvie and Loki never came close to this, which then moved to the forefront more in the second half of the season.
Even though the female Loki variant also makes appearances, the trailer still suggests that the time agent duo will again be the main focus of events and must save the entire universe together.
