Since last night, some indications have intensified that there will be another PS5 pre-order event at Media Markt and Saturn today.
What kind of PS5 will there be? According to rumors from social media and various forums, the disc version of the PlayStation 5 is likely to be offered including an additional DualSense controller in Cosmic Red and either FIFA 22 or Call of Duty: Vanguard.
Update: 18.01.2022, 15:02: According to social media, there are indeed different PS5 bundles available for pre-order. Which ones are available likely varies by location. As mentioned earlier, the console is partially offered with an additional DualSense controller (in Midnight Red) and, as with previous pre-order events, sometimes with extended warranty in some areas and sometimes without it in others.
The industry magazine Gameswirtschaft further estimates that the fluctuating size of the allocations is likely to average “50 to 70 consoles per market.” (via Gameswirtschaft)
Update: 18.01.2022, 11:02: In addition to the mentioned bundle, it seems that regionally you can also pre-order the “naked console” of the PS5 disc version. This normally costs €499.00. Whether the Digital Edition is available for purchase (in limited quantities) is currently still unclear.
Update: 18.01.2022, 10:40: More and more reports from users have emerged on social media stating that they were indeed able to pre-order a PS5 at Media Markt and Saturn. This confirms that the rumors had some basis. However, it would likely be very wise to hurry, as these console allocations tend to sell out very quickly.
The bundle is said to be priced at €639.99 – €100.00 of which had to be paid as a deposit during previous offline pre-order actions by both retailers. In some places, the conclusion of an extended warranty was also mandatory for the purchase. The consoles are expected to be available for pickup starting February 5th – experience shows that this was often done a bit faster during previous pre-order events.

How can I find out if my store has a PS5? Pre-order events like this are generally neither announced nor advertised.
