If you have taken a long break from World of Warcraft, you are now getting a few days of game time for free. Will Blizzard manage to entice you back to WoW?
In the past six months, many players have turned away from World of Warcraft. The content was not liked, the new game systems were partly not well received, and other issues plagued WoW. However, for the last few weeks, the new Patch 8.2 Rise of Azshara is live. For many players, this has probably come too late, since they no longer have a subscription.
Now Blizzard is trying to win these players back and lure them back to Azeroth. Former players can claim three free days of game time.
This is how you get 3 free WoW days: If you have turned your back on World of Warcraft for several months and do not have an active subscription or any paid game time, then you should start your Battle.net launcher. The “Gift” symbol should be flashing in the upper right corner. With two simple clicks, you can unlock three days of game time for your account, which starts immediately.
What should you do in the 3 days? The 3 days are perfect for trying out all the new content. You can complete the first quests in Nazjatar, have fun in Mechagon, or join a group for the new raid Eternal Palace. Most content cannot be completed in three days, but it is enough to get a good impression.
Until when is the offer available? If you are still unsure whether you want to check it out again or prefer to wait for a free weekend, you have until July 28 to redeem the free game time. It is definitely worth taking a longer look at Patch 8.2 to see if Battle for Azeroth has finally turned around.
