For those wanting to destroy enemy vehicles in Call of Duty: Warzone, there is an old trick from the competitor Battlefield that can be used. This is demonstrated by clever players.
This is what it’s about: Vehicles are ubiquitous in the Battle Royale Warzone, and many fans of the Call of Duty series are not aware of all the tricks on how to counter them.
A trick from the Battlefield series can help. Players have been combating vehicles in Battlefield for years, which only became truly relevant in Call of Duty with Modern Warfare.
Destroy vehicles with your own vehicles
This is the trick: On Reddit, the user “deltaforcestron” shares a video showing how he destroys an enemy vehicle. He mentions that this is actually known from Battlefield:
To do this, he equips his own vehicle with C4 and selects an enemy vehicle. He accelerates and heads straight for the opponent. Just before the collision, he jumps out of the car and detonates the C4. Both his own car and the enemy’s vehicle explode, and he gets credited with the kills.
How are other fans reacting to this? The Reddit thread has almost 5000 upvotes, and many users in the comments mention that they never thought they would see such a video in this subreddit.
As noted by WW2er: “Who would believe that I would live long enough to see that ‘only in Battlefield moments’ are more often seen in CoD than in Battlefield. Crazy times we live in.”
Why is this a Battlefield moment? Call of Duty has been relatively low in vehicles. The focus has been on close combat in smaller maps. Battlefield, on the other hand, has always had large maps and, of course, many vehicles. Such actions were commonplace there.
However, with Modern Warfare and especially with the Battle Royale Warzone, things are changing, and vehicles have found their way into Call of Duty as well. So, the old trick from Battlefield now works in Warzone too.
