A new stress test has been announced for WoW Classic. This will take place unexpectedly and gives new players the chance to help with the test.
How can I play? Tomorrow, on the night from Wednesday, May 29 to Thursday, May 30, there will be another stress test for WoW Classic. A large number of players will be invited for the stress tests to test server stability.
The invitations will be distributed randomly. To have a chance to receive an invitation, you just need to sign up for the beta. We have described in our article how you can sign up for the WoW Classic beta.
Those who were already able to participate in the first stress test of WoW Classic will also be invited again and have their spot secured. This was confirmed by Community Manager Toschayju in the official forum shortly after the end of the first test.
When can I play? The stress test starts on Wednesday, May 29, at 11:00 PM German time. The actual test will be monitored by the developers until 1:00 AM German time on Thursday, May 30.
Afterwards, however, the servers will remain online for another day, as was the case in the first stress test. You can then play until 1:00 AM in the morning of Friday, May 31.
After that, only the regular beta will be playable, for which invitations are limited. The next scheduled stress test will then take place again on June 19. The release of WoW Classic is planned for August 27.
What to expect in the stress test
Unlike the first stress test, this time you can play up to level 10. However, you won’t be able to go further, as the goal of the test is to check stability. The developers were unable to collect all the data they wanted during the last test due to some issues.
Otherwise, you have the same opportunities as in the first stress test, but with level 10, you will probably not see much more than the starting areas unless you specifically set out to explore.

However, there might be cool events with the developers again upon the completion of the guided test:
