WildStar is celebrating Christmas – currently only on the test realm, but soon in the live version!
Bring on your Ho-ho-ho-holiday!
Recently, “Shade’s Eve” took place in WildStar, the Nexus version of Halloween, closely followed by a hoverboard holiday. But for the developers at Carbine, it’s far from over, as a Christmas event is next on the agenda: the Protostar’s Gala Winterfest Extravaganza!
And what does Christmas stand for, apart from family, coziness, and the wonderful experience of finally seeing all your relatives again, whose names you don’t even know? That’s right, capitalism! This calls Protostar into action, along with “Papa Phineas”, who naturally wants nothing but the best – namely your money.
Festive Decorations and Snowball Fight
From December 18 to January 1, the festivities will continue, decorating both Thayd and Illium in festive decorations. Various daily tasks will reward “Proto-Coins”, which can be exchanged for unique costumes and special housing items.
At regular intervals, Protostar will call for a massive snowball fight, where some players can hop into a robot to properly splash their colleagues.
New Expedition Skymal-in-the-Sky
This event also features a new expedition that can only be visited during this time. A total of 11 challenges await, of which players must complete 5 randomly selected to finish the expedition.
This will also be rewarded with unique pets, Proto-Coins, and plenty of housing items to decorate your property kitschily, colorfully, and especially festively. The expedition can be visited infinitely, so players who only have one or two days during the event can quickly farm enough coins to afford all the special features.
