WildStar could celebrate its release on Steam as early as next week if the rumors prove true.
Is WildStar’s Steam release coming on June 1st?
The fans of WildStar have been speculating for a while about when the game will finally be released on Steam. This date is important not only for the fans, but also for WildStar, as it could be an opportunity to generate a significant player base again, given the recent negative reports.
As reported by massivelyoverpowered, the release date “June 1st” was briefly visible on WildStar’s Steam page. When inquired with Carbine, the response was that the announcement of a date is still pending – in the meantime, this error has also been corrected on Steam. Whether there is any truth to this date or if it was merely a mistake from Steam will likely be revealed when the game starts on June 1st – or not.
With the release on Steam, some new features are also coming to WildStar, as they will phase out NCoin and offer players the chance to convert it to “Protobucks”. You can find more about this in this article.
