Today, Carbine has let another Aurin out of the bag: The open beta for WildStar starts in 2 days, on May 8! And as if that weren’t reason enough to celebrate, from that day on, you can also test the German version of the game – at least a pre-release version, which will of course continue to be refined until the release in 3 weeks.
The level cap for all non-closed beta players will also be raised to 30, which means that you can leave Nexus and also explore the areas of “Beyond” – basically the asteroid belt around the planet. In addition, the last ability slot will be unlocked, allowing you to get a comprehensive impression of the chosen class.

For all undecided players who have not yet decided for or against WildStar, the open beta offers a good opportunity to get your own impression of the SciFi-fantasy MMO: Adventures, dungeons, and the extensive housing are just waiting to be tested by you.
The open beta ends on May 19, so you have 11 days to take a look at Nexus – make use of it!
Update regarding name reservation (Source: Newsletter):
If you pre-order WildStar, you can leave even more distinct marks on Nexus by reserving a character name and a guild name before the official launch. This means your desired name is safer than an infochron in the Rastalocks of a Draken.
The name reservation page is only available from May 13 to May 23. So visit the page as soon as possible, as the motto for name reservations is “First come, first served.” We have also set up a FAQ section there where you can find answers to all your questions (which names are allowed, on which servers they are stored, etc.).

- For the display language and the files to install as well.
- The language files, which are slightly over 1 GB in size, will then be downloaded, and you can play with them tomorrow.
