In WildStar, it might soon happen that characters learn more than one path – at least there was a hint regarding this.

In WildStar, players not only choose a race and their class but also a path. This determines certain bonus content that players encounter during the game. Explorers can solve jumping puzzles, while Scientists gain a lot of lore information to better understand the Nexus. Until now, the choice of the path was permanent and could not be changed later – but now a developer hinted that this might change in the future.
During the last “Ask me Anything” on Thursday, players were able to ask questions about the upcoming Free2Play update. One user asked: “What do I have to do to allow you to let me switch the path of my main character?” and received the somewhat cryptic answer: “Or, what if you could add a path?”
Although it was also clearly emphasized that nothing can be promised at this time, it is obvious that there is consideration for players to pursue more than one path.
However, whether this change, if it comes at all, will already be included in the Free2Play patch is very unlikely.
