WildStar has received a new patch after a long time, which is primarily aimed at addressing some balance issues.
Longer Wait Times for Group Players in PvP
In the sci-fi MMORPG WildStar, adjustments are being made to the wait times for matchmaking. This will particularly affect premade groups. Until now, the system was designed to find a group of opponents as quickly as possible, ideally at a similar skill level. If that was not achieved, the “prepared professionals with TeamSpeak” were often sent into battle against “unprepared randoms,” for whom coordination and communication are two attributes on the character sheet.

The matchmaking system now allows for a significantly longer period to pass – exact numbers are not provided – before these often unfair encounters occur. This is expected to lead to more balanced matches, ultimately bringing more fun to all involved.
Other points include some class changes, but they only mean minimal adjustments. Stalkers can now use “tactical retreat” while utilizing another ability.
Aside from that, the patch contained numerous fixes for bugs that primarily occurred in the quest areas of the lower-level zones.
