Wildstar is certainly not the most successful game under the sun. However, despite poor numbers, this colorful MMORPG continues in 2017. WildStar director Chad Moore has spoken about the future of the game in the coming year.
WildStar recorded a low point in NCSoft’s revenue last quarter, but it seems that no one at the publisher intends to pull the plug. This can be inferred from reading the blog post by WildStar director Chad Moore.
Rocket launch into 2017
In his post, Chad Moore first discusses the successes of WildStar in 2016. After all, there was the Arkterra update, the new Redmoon Terror raid, and cross-faction PvE in groups. This led to more raids and dungeon runs, and some guilds have already tackled the new raid.
With the continuous improvement of WildStar, they want to continue in 2017 and already have some ideas in store. Your heroes will experience exciting adventures on and off Nexus in 2017. In particular, Carbine aims to focus on:
- providing players with exciting and meaningful character progression
- rewarding them appropriately for the time they spend in WildStar
- creating new player experiences and keeping things relevant that you already have
