The reviews of the western online game Wild West Online are not particularly good, and player numbers are even extremely poor. Will a Free2Play trial fix this?
Wild West Online is still struggling – not only with bad reviews, accusations of fraud and declining player counts, but also with its own poor quality, according to Steam reviews, the developers now want to turn the tide with a Free2Play trial.
Free2Play trial should attract players
Try it for free. On June 15, the western MMO will receive a major update. This will launch a Free2Play trial, allowing players to try out the online game with some restrictions:
- Basically, you can play like a regular player, but with some limitations.
- You can only level up to 20. Once you reach level 20, you will no longer earn experience points.
- You will not receive any achievements or rewards.
The update offers even more. The Free2Play trial is not everything that is new. Additionally, the following changes will be made:
- McFarlane and Steele factions will be removed
- Sheriffs vs. Outlaws will become the core game, where they will be the two factions of the game
- Town Capture will be redesigned
- Weapon settings
- More visible crosshair
- Better loot variety
- Rewards redesigned
- Tutorials
Can the Free2Play trial save the game? The reason for introducing such a “trial version” is actually clear: The team wants to attract new players. Some may like what they see and then purchase the regular version. However, this doesn’t always work. Especially not when the overall quality of the product still leaves much to be desired.
