Wild Rift is a special version of League of Legends that is appearing for the first time on Android and iOS. Later, it is also planned to be released for consoles. In some regions of the world, Wild Rift is already playable, but the release date for Europe has now been announced.
When will Wild Rift be released? From Germany, we can participate in the open beta starting December 10. This places Europe roughly in the middle of the regions. Some countries in Asia have already been able to test since July 2020, while others, including the USA, will have to wait until 2021.
With the start of the open beta, all players can download Wild Rift and have immediate access to all content, including:
- A map that closely resembles Summoners Rift
- The familiar modes, including Blind Pick, Draft Pick, a game against AI, and of course Ranked
- Over 40 champions that you already know from the original
- Regular updates to balance and new champions that will be added gradually
- Shorter rounds that are expected to last between 10 and 20 minutes
Wild Rift is a Free2Play game and follows a similar payment model as LoL itself. You will be able to purchase skins and champions; however, there will be no content in the shop that gives you an unfair advantage.

Where can you download Wild Rift? The new mobile game can be downloaded from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. In both, you can already register in advance to be notified at the release.
What are the system requirements for Wild Rift?
For Android, you will need at least:

- a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor
- an Adreno 306 GPU
For iOS, you will need:
- an iPhone 6 or higher
Wild Rift Enjoys Great Popularity
How is the game being received? In some regions of the world, LoL: Wild Rift has already gained great popularity. As reported by the Twitter account Wild Rift News, it achieved top rankings in download charts in some countries.
The beta for Wild Rift launched on October 27 in Malaysia and the Philippines and was already ranked 2nd or 1st the next day. Comments below the post also report high placements in Myanmar and South Korea.
Wild Rift was announced in October 2019 for the 10th anniversary of Riot Games. In addition to the LoL mobile game, there were several other titles, including Valorant and an unknown MMO:
