Wild Rift is the mobile and console version of League of Legends. However, it is supposed to be slightly adjusted for the platforms and will launch with fewer champions accordingly.
Update March 19: Since then, the champions Katarina, Xayah, Rakan, and 3 new champions with Patch 2.1b have been added.
Update January 5: With the new Patch 2.0, 5 Yordle champions were added: Corki, Kennen, Lulu, Teemo, Tristana.
Update December 8: With Patch 1.1, two more champions were released, Darius and Draven. We also created a tier list for all positions.
Update December 3: We have updated the list concerning the champions. There are now 47 in total.
Which champions are starting Wild Rift? The mobile version of LoL, set to be released in 2020, will start with 49 champions. This makes the selection significantly smaller, as the PC version currently has 152, with the next champion appearing in two weeks.
Most of the 49 champions come from the early years of the MOBA, and many were even available at launch, like Alistar, Jax, or Master Yi. However, there are also two newer champs among them, which many did not expect:
- Jhin – Released in February 2016
- Camille – Released in December 2016
In return, some of the 40 release champions of LoL are missing, including Cho’Gath, Gangplank, Singed, and Twitch.
