Why did players stop playing WoW Classic? We want to find out, and we need your voices.
Meanwhile, World of Warcraft Classic is nearly half a year old and a lot has changed in Azeroth. Along with the launch of different phases, which brought features like PvP or new dungeons such as the Darkshore, there have been many discussions surrounding Blizzard’s MMORPG. While many players are still enjoying themselves, there are also some who have moved on from WoW Classic over the past few months.
Depending on whom you ask about this matter, there are numerous different reasons, such as frustration over the Alterac Valley. You often hear:
- WoW Classic just takes too much time.
- Leveling takes way too long.
- There are no interesting endgame contents.
- The community is just different and not like it used to be.
- The game is just not as good or hard as I remember.
- Some aspects were completely different than I remembered (balance, travel times, difficulty).
- Bots ruin the fun in PvP or PvE.
- The realms are just way too crowded.
So there are many reasons, but which ones are the most significant is not always clear.
