Which game is it? A few days ago, the game “The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe” was released on Steam (via steampowered.com).
This is a remake of the old game from 2013. The team behind it has revamped the game, upgraded the graphics, and added new content.
In the game, you control the protagonist Stanley from a first-person perspective through various rooms. Each of your steps is commented on by a narrator, and you can decide at certain points in the game how the story continues. You can see how the game looks in the following video:
What kind of achievement is that? The game has an achievement named “Go Out and Have Some Fun.” The requirement for this achievement is that you do not play “The Stanley Parable” for 10 years and then start it again. This means that if you buy the game today, you can unlock the achievement only in 2032. At least you have a plan for what you want to accomplish in 10 years.
Do I really have to wait that long? You can also “cheat” if you want to get the achievement right away. For this, you need to go into the settings of your computer and manually set the date and time 10 years into the future. This way, you can also get the achievement “Go Out and Have Some Fun” directly. But the developers probably didn’t envision it this way.
