Maintaining a high honor value in Red Dead Redemption 2 is not that easy. However, it’s easy when you kill racists in white clothing.
In Red Dead Redemption 2, players can experience plenty of strange encounters with Arthur. This includes not only the thrilling main story of the game against hated foes like the O’Driscolls, but also weird Easter eggs like the visit from aliens.
Other encounters are based on real groups, such as the meetings with the Ku Klux Klan.
What is the Ku Klux Klan? The Ku Klux Klan is a racist, violent organization that primarily operates in America. Usually dressed entirely in white, they target dark-skinned individuals and attempt to enforce “white supremacy”.
The Ku Klux Klan consists of idiots: In Red Dead Redemption 2, the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) is fortunately quite incompetent. If you observe their members long enough, they accidentally kill each other while in ghost costumes. Sometimes they are crushed by their own crosses, other times they set each other on fire, run around in a panic, and ignite more Klan members along the way.
What makes the KKK in RDR2 so special? Normally, Arthur’s honor value decreases when he guns down people – especially if he started the shootout. However, the KKK members are an exception here and have the opposite effect. Killing them raises Arthur’s honor value further. So it might be worthwhile to kill the hooded guys.
However, you should be thorough in doing so: If one of the KKK escapes and reports you, a bounty will be placed on you for murder. However, if there are no witnesses, then a small honor bonus is possible. So remember: If you want to kill racists in RDR2, at least be thorough about it.
