Patch 7.3.5 brought a lot of new features to World of Warcraft. Not all changes are as significant as the scaling of the entire game world with the character’s level. But even small adjustments provide entertaining hours in Azeroth, such as the improvement of the S.E.L.F.I.E. camera.
This toy allows characters to take screenshots where they hold the camera up and smile in classic selfie style. Various effects and filters can enhance the image further. For example, you could apply a sepia filter to create a completely different atmosphere.
S.E.L.F.I.E. Camera in WoW easier to obtain in 2018 with 7.3.5
With Patch 7.3.5, it has been simplified to obtain the S.E.L.F.I.E. camera. Through new quest lines in Stormwind and Orgrimmar, you can receive the basic version of the camera starting at level 15. At level 30, a further quest will transform the camera into a full-fledged toy.
This makes it significantly easier to get the camera in 2018 than in previous years.
5 new filters for better snapshots
If you really want to make the most out of the S.E.L.F.I.E. camera, you should also look for the five new filters that Blizzard has hidden in Patch 7.3.5. These filters change the respective background, or “skybox”, so that the sky looks like in certain locations.
To unlock the filters, you must take the camera to specific locations and take screenshots with individual bosses. The following filters can be obtained this way:
- Firelands filter: Visit Ragnaros in the Firelands. The raid entrance is located in Hyjal. Take a photo with the final boss and you’ll get the filter.
- Twilight filter: Travel to the Bastion of Twilight in the Twilight Highlands. In the last room, take a photo with Cho’Gall and the filter is yours.
- Sha filter: In Pandaria, in the Terrace of Spring, you will find the Sha of Fear. A photo with him unlocks the new filter.
- Frostgram filter: For an icy Northrend background, you need to travel to Icecrown and take a snapshot with the Lich King in the Icecrown Citadel. Note that you must have started the fight (talk to Tirion) for it to work.
- Argus filter: You get the last filter in the fight against the final boss of Antorus, the Burning Throne. Take a snapshot together with Argus and enjoy your new filter.
