Fortnite: Battle Royale (PC, PS4, iOS, Switch & Xbox One) offers new skins and outfits in the shop daily. However, some skins have only been in the shop once or twice. Therefore, they are rare and are envied accordingly.
This is how the skin rotation works in Fortnite: Every night (except on weekends), the shop in Fortnite is updated. The old skins are replaced, and you get eight new offers for outfits, gliders, pickaxes, and emotes.
Meanwhile, there are extremely many skins and outfits in Fortnite. Therefore, some items are much rarer in the shop rotation than others.
The eight rarest offers in the shop!
These skins are extremely rare! The Reddit user Hearth_Custom has collected information and identified the rarest skins in Fortnite. Hence, he comes up with the following list of skins and emotes:
- Power Chord: The punk rocker has only been in the shop once. The legendary outfit priced at 2,000 V-Bucks was quite expensive, and not everyone likely bought it. Many players might regret this now, as the punk girl has not returned yet.
- Anarchy Pickaxe: The harvesting tool associated with Power Chord is just as rare as its owner and has also only been available once in the shop.
- Air Guitar: Another item from the “Headbanger” collection. The emote lets you rock out with a guitar (a real one, the German title is nonsense!) and looks super cool, but it was also only available in the shop once!
- Recon Expert: This skin is not particularly spectacular but has only been in the shop once. Therefore, only a few players own it.
- Mako: A true one-of-a-kind. The gray glider was only available if you reached level 25 in Season 1. Since Fortnite was at that time just a mocked and colorful PUBG, not too many players participated back then. And not everyone made it to level 25! The skin also appeared unintentionally in the shop later, which made it even more coveted.
- Ranger, Scout, and Pathfinder: These skins are all from the “uncommon” category and therefore rather inconspicuous. Nevertheless, they are all super rare, as they have only appeared twice in the game!

There are also extremely common skins and outfits: On the other hand, some items appear particularly often in the shop. Therefore, they are not exactly rare, and almost every dedicated skin collector should have bought them by now.
In the image here, you can see how often the respective items have been available. The popular and colorful Farbomber has taken the lead here, but the Schaltkreis-Killer and the Kaugummi-Gleiter have also been offered quite often so far.
