Borderlands 3 introduces a new, useful feature that will please all players with friends. Your mailbox could contain a lot of loot.
In Borderlands 3, you can delight your fellow players with plenty of loot, even when they are not currently present. There will be a way to simply send your teammates weapons, grandees, and other loot by mail. This saves you time and allows you to make your absent teammates happy when they log in next time.
How does it work? This is fundamentally useful for all players who like to maintain a clean inventory and do not want to spend too long on loot they personally can’t use anyway. You just need to briefly visit the mailbox, select the name of the desired friend, and the weapon, grenade mod, or whatever dangerous stuff you found will go directly to your friend.
This is particularly useful, as Borderlands 3 is a loot shooter and it also means that you can’t really use a large portion of the loot yourself because the weapon doesn’t suit your own build or playstyle. But we all have that one friend who is excited about the seventeenth sniper rifle in their collection…
More freedom with loot: Essentially, Borderlands 3 seems to grant players more freedom in distributing and receiving their loot. Players can choose whether they want “personal loot”, which can then only be seen and picked up by them, or whether all players have to share the loot. That was the case in Borderlands 2. There it was common to duel over a weapon in case of a dispute (or alternatively, to be grumpy in a voice chat hours later).
Will you use this feature and send strong weapons to your friends? Or was such a function unnecessary?
