After players of Fallout 76 have requested several improvements to the game, Bethesda is now responding to these wishes. Particularly, the new Raid Vault 94 will receive some love in the next patch.
These were the issues so far: For some time now, bugs in Fallout 76 have been causing frustration for some players. These include:
- Bugs with power armor
- Connection drops and unstable servers
- Disappearing enemies and corpses
Since Vault 94 was released as the first raid, there have been some problems here as well. Players completed the raid and received disappointing loot.
Many of these issues are to be fixed by Bethesda in the upcoming update 13, with a focus on issues with the raid.
These changes are coming in Patch 13
These bugs will be fixed: In a new “Out of the Vault” update, a list of bug fixes has been presented that are to be implemented in the next patch. The most important ones include:
- Improvements for Vault 94 – items such as the drill should no longer appear as loot. Additionally, the experience points gained and the number of items required for completion are to be increased.
- Stability improvements – According to many players, stability has become worse again since Patch 12. Patch 13 is supposed to improve performance and reduce connection drops, especially in Vault 94.
- Power armor bugs – Players exiting their power armor are losing control over their character more frequently. This bug is more complex than initially thought, but it is on the list for fixes. Whether the fix will actually come with Patch 13 is still uncertain.
These issues are still being addressed: Bethesda also intends to make adjustments to mods, weapons, and armor. Several bugs are to be fixed that cause incorrect calculations of armor penetration or unclear explanations of mods.
Additionally, the option to display collectible mods is expected to be added.
A complete list of the fixes announced so far can be found on the official website of Bethesda.
This feature is already active: Even though the focus is on fixing bugs, a new feature is coming. The new legendary vendor of Fallout 76 now has special offers.
Until Tuesday, September 3rd at 6 PM, you will receive a 25% discount on all legendary weapons and armor.
This is how players see it: Fallout 76 has been criticized by fans for its unresolved bugs for some time now. There have already been extensive discussions about new features being temporarily halted until the game runs smoothly and without bugs.
In the announcement of Patch 13 on reddit, there is considerable excitement regarding the bug fixes. Players are pleased that bugs are finally being addressed. Although some wish that more action were taken, most fans agree that a thorough overhaul in slow steps is better.
Some other players are just making the best of the bugs they encounter:
