What content is hidden behind guilds? In Throne and Liberty, there are a variety of activities that are easier as a guild. Some can only be done as a guild. One such activity involves combat and the so-called Boonstones and Riftstones. Those who possess them receive rewards and bonuses.
These stones can be brought under the control of guilds by dueling another guild for them. However, these massive PvP battles are not fought by all guilds.
Only the guild with the highest rank can challenge the current owner to gain control of the stone for their own guild. Smaller guilds will therefore never get a turn, as the ranking of guilds is primarily based on the combined activities of all members.
Is there anything else for which a guild is needed? Yes, not just a guild, but a whole alliance. The battle for the throne in Throne and Liberty is probably the main highlight of the game. In an epic battle, up to 280 defenders of the throne, all from guilds of the same alliance, fight against an attacking alliance.
The great PvP, with up to 560 players, takes place every two weeks and is one of the most epic experiences in the entire MMORPG genre. To participate, your guild must team up with three other guilds to form an alliance.
The battle is not just about glory and honor, but also about Lucent, the premium currency that goes to the rulers of the castle through tax revenues. Therefore, it can be very worthwhile for free players to join an appropriate guild.
Where can I find such a guild? The best place to find a guild for Throne and Liberty is the official Discord server of the developers. There you can search for a guild in the “recruitment” forum. You can filter guilds that meet your criteria using the tags at the top of the forum.
Small guilds clearly have the disadvantage in Throne and Liberty. If you start the game with friends, it is probably best to join a large guild to truly experience everything the game has to offer.
