Torchlight 2 is an action RPG and dungeon crawler with hack & slash elements. The Torchlight series can be described as a kind of Diablo clone, as the games are very similar. This might also be because behind Torchlight are the two former Blizzard employees Max and Erich Schaefer, who are considered the fathers of Diablo.
In Torchlight 2, you choose one of four different classes and explore the open world of “Vilderan”, defeating opponents and getting stronger.

Slay enemies and level up
Four different classes are available, each bringing different play styles. The Berserker is a melee fighter who summons wolves, while the Vagant is a cunning rogue who excels at ranged combat. In addition to a character, you also choose a pet that will accompany you on your journey and can sell loot for you.
The gameplay revolves around defeating enemies in a good hack & slash manner. In the dungeons, you slay enemies and obtain loot to improve your equipment and level up your character. Additionally, you can develop active and passive skills through skill trees.
You can play Torchlight 2 solo or in co-op mode with friends. Up to 4 players can play together on console and up to 6 on PC.
