Every Pokémon fan has had their own experiences with the franchise and started with a different edition. It’s no wonder that there are different favorites. MeinMMO took a survey and now presents the results of their favorite era.
This year, the Pokémon franchise celebrates its 30th anniversary. 30 years of Pokémon also mean different experiences and entry points into the universe of colorful pocket monsters. The MeinMMO editorial team also has various opinions on which generations are the best.
That’s why we conducted an ultimate survey: Which era is the best? Each editor and author had 3 votes available. We did not strictly differentiate by generation, but by time periods in which multiple editions were released.
Therefore, we list the last places as bullet points. The top 3 will be presented in more detail. In case of a tie, the eras have been sorted from new to old. There are also opinion boxes from editors and authors explaining why they chose this generation for first place.
