This is what E3 2021 brings: After the E3 event had to be canceled last year due to Covid, it will take place in 2021 in an entirely digital format. Once again, various developers and publishers from the gaming industry will be participating, and from June 12 to June 15, they will present the latest information about their games.
This year, big names like Microsoft, Square Enix, and Ubisoft are once again participating. Nintendo will also join in, after sitting out the last E3. Sony has once again decided to skip this year’s E3.
Here is an overview of the largest conferences:
- EA is bringing the big Battlefield reveal ahead of E3.
- Devolver Digital is known for their extravagant E3 shows. Fans hope for Hotline Miami 3.
- Ubisoft E3 2021 with games such as Far Cry 6, Rainbow Six – Quarantine, and updates for games like For Honor or Watch Dogs: Legion.
- Xbox and Bethesda Showcase will showcase games like Halo Infinite and Starfield, as well as announcements for already released games.
- Square Enix Presents will provide new information about Final Fantasy VII Remake, Marvel’s Avengers, and Babylon’s Fall.
- PC Gaming Show has not released any teasers yet. At the last show, there was an announcement for Persona 4 Golden for PC and the remaster of Shadow Man.
- Future Games Show focuses on indie games like Dustborn or Serial Cleaner. There are no previews for announcements at E3 2021 yet.
- Nintendo Direct will focus completely on the software of the Nintendo Switch at E3 2021. Fans speculate that it could include Breath of the Wild 2.
