Call of Duty has had many titles, which have been appearing for almost two decades, with many shooting games that continue to excite fans. However, the question arises, which is the best Call of Duty, and so we asked you and you got to vote.

What was the outcome of the vote? Our readers clearly decided on the winner, which is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 from 2009. It impressed readers with a total of 1,524 votes and 18 % of the total votes.

In second place is Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare from 2007 with 1,242 votes, followed by the futuristic shooter Black Ops 2 from 2012 with a total of 753 votes. The worst Call of Duty is Vanguard from 2021 with a total of 49 votes.

What was so good about Call of Duty: MW2? Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was a big highlight in 2009. It had not only thrilling moments like the detonation of a nuclear bomb or the terrorist attack at the terminal, but also a convincing and above all fun PvP experience.

But also the specialists mode and the accompanying museum offered much entertainment and cool moments. Basically, MW2 had what a good shooter can offer at its best:

• Drama-filled scenes full of conflict and tension
• Clear PvP
• A separate PvE mode for entertainment
• An engaging story
