The announcement of the PS Plus games for March 2021 seems to be delayed. So far, there has been no statement regarding which games will be available next month.
Update February 26, 2:00 PM: The games for March have now been released. There are 4 new titles, including a really good co-op shooter, Remnant: From the Ashes.
When will PS Plus games be released? Sony usually reveals which games PS Plus subscribers can expect next month by the last Wednesday of the month at 5:30 PM. Delays are quite unusual.
So far, however, there has been no official announcement of the new free games for March 2021. Sony has also not disclosed official information regarding when these will come and why the announcement is delayed.
What games does PS Plus bring in March?
What kind of games are usually available? Usually, at least two games for PS4 and now also games for PS5 are included in the free games for PS Plus. Typically, PS4 games can also be played on the PS5 thanks to backward compatibility.
In February, the following titles are available:
- Concrete Genie (PS4, base game) – an action-adventure
- Control: Ultimate Edition (PS4, including PS5 version) – a third-person shooter
- Destruction AllStars (PS5 only, base game) – a combat game with vehicles
You can use these games throughout February, as long as you have an active PS Plus subscription.
Are there any speculations about the games in March? So far, it is only known that Destruction AllStars for PS5 will remain available in March.
Which games will be added for PS4 remains completely unclear.
When could they be announced? In June 2020 there was a delay in announcing the games. However, that only lasted about 24 hours.
Tomorrow, Thursday, February 25, a State of Play will take place at 11:00 PM – an announcement around this time would at least be conceivable. As soon as Sony announces the titles, we will inform you on MeinMMO.
You will likely be able to download the games on Tuesday, March 2, 2021, if everything goes according to plan.
