What about the NPCs? In Watch Dogs Legion, the NPCs play a very large role. In the third part of the Watch Dogs series, you should be able to recruit absolutely every character in fictional London into your team.
The various characters are supposed to have different voices, traits, and visual elements. Even their walking styles are supposed to differ, like with the sprightly grandma Helen, whom the internet has fallen in love with.

What is special about it? The characters in Watch Dogs Legion are supposed to feel as realistic as possible and are simulated by the game. For example, it could happen that NPCs mourn for other characters if you kill them in the game.
Stephen Tolito from Kotaku is said to have learned that the relatives of NPCs you send over the Jordan in the game even visit the cemetery. After a while, however, these NPCs would start looking for someone new and would begin dating again.
Already in the E3 trailer of Watch Dogs Legion it was shown that the members of your team discuss when one of your hackers dies. Thanks to permadeath, this can no longer be undone.
What is Watch Dogs Legion about? London faces destruction in a dystopian future after Brexit, as we already know from the leak prior to E3. The residents are oppressed by a surveillance state that keeps people in check with private military units. In addition, a criminal syndicate has emerged to further abuse the weak.
The hacker group DedSec stands against it and recruits specialists from the masses to build a resistance movement.
