Dauntless is currently experiencing a server outage and is preparing for the Open Beta release on May 24. When will the servers be back online and what do you need to know for the download? All the information can be found here.
Update May 24: The pre-download is now available to you. You can find Dauntless preload on the official website of Phoenix Labs.
With the release of the Open Beta, Dauntless will switch to a free-to-play model and will be available for download free of charge to all players. The Open Beta is a soft launch that can be considered the release of the game.

Server Outage at Release: When will the servers be back online?
- Two days ago (May 22), the servers were taken offline
- Yesterday (May 23), the servers remained offline all day
- Today (May 24), the servers will go back online between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM.
What system requirements do I need to meet?
- Minimum:
- Graphics card: 660Ti (DX11) or 3GB dedicated video memory
- CPU: i5 Sandy Bridge
- RAM: 4GB
- OS: Windows 7 DX11 support

Will there be a wipe at the start of the Open Beta? Yes. All characters will be reset, including those of the developers.
I have already purchased items in the closed beta. Will I lose them? No. Everything you purchased with real money will also appear in your inventory. If this is not the case, you need to contact customer service at [email protected].
Will there be another wipe after the Open Beta? No. This is now a soft launch.
What do I get for closed beta rewards? Slayers who purchased a founder’s pack and received a quest from Maelstrom will get a torch and a banner.
Can I purchase a founder’s pack after the Open Beta starts? No. However, there will be supporter packs in the future. What these will contain is still unknown.
Where are the Dauntless servers located? They are distributed worldwide, including Europe, North America, South America, and Oceania.
Can I play Dauntless only in multiplayer? No. Dauntless will also be playable solo in single player mode.
Will new weapons, monsters, and gear be added? Yes. Dauntless is an MMO and is in continuous development. You can expect more behemoths and new equipment.
Will there be cosmetic skins? Yes. There will be cosmetics for your character.
Will Dauntless support widescreen? Widescreen support is still being worked on, but the foundation has already been laid.
Is Dauntless coming to PS4, Xbox One, or the Nintendo Switch? Currently, Dauntless is only planned for PC, but the developers have already indicated their willingness to bring Dauntless to consoles.
