Gaming is an expensive hobby, especially when it comes to MMORPGs. We often play these games over very long periods and accordingly accumulate quite a bit of money spent on them.
Some MMORPGs require active subscriptions to play, while others are free but offer tons of content in their cash shops. We as players then face the choice of what to spend our (hard-earned) money on, but unfortunately, one choice or another turns out to be a regrettable purchase.
It can really be anything:
- The game itself or an expansion
- Early Access and Founder’s Packs
- The subscription or premium sub
- Cosmetic items
- Boosts and level skips, and more
The purchase may initially seem like a good investment, but turns out to be a disappointment. Unfortunately, no one is safe from this, no matter how careful they are while shopping and how well-informed they are.
