In the upcoming Patch 8.1 Tides of Vengeance of WoW, the story of Saurfang continues. We’ll tell you what the old Orc is up to.
Patch 8.1 Tides of Vengeance of World of Warcraft advances the story of the war between Horde and Alliance. But there is also information about an old Orc who was imprisoned with the start of Battle for Azeroth. What players can expect from Saurfang in the upcoming patch, we reveal here.
Spoiler Warning: If you do not want to know what happens with Saurfang in Patch 8.1, you should not read on.
Escape from the Alliance: Sylvanas has a special mission for the player. She has heard that Saurfang has escaped from his prison (he was imprisoned in Stormwind) and still needs to hide in the vicinity of Stormwind. She sends the player along with a dark ranger, Zekhan (whom everyone knows as “Zappy Boi”) and some soldiers to find Saurfang.
The mission is to bring Saurfang back. He must not “fall into the hands of the enemy” again.
After a longer search, the players find Saurfang, who does not want to come with them. The dark ranger, who has direct instructions from Sylvanas, wants to kill Saurfang on the spot if he continues to refuse. Zekhan joins Saurfang and (probably with the help of the players) manages to kill the dark ranger and the other Horde soldiers.
Courage for the Horde: However, Saurfang continues to decide not to show himself. He tells Zekhan that he must return to the Horde. He should pretend to have been defeated by Saurfang, which is why Saurfang also gives Zekhan a good beating.
Furthermore, Zekhan should “tell everyone who wishes for the honor of the Horde to be restored that they must not give up hope”.
Zekhan and the player then return to Sylvanas. She reacts skeptically that Zekhan is only slightly injured and wonders how Saurfang could supposedly take out the whole troop alone, but for now leaves it at that.
