Which leagues could be newly included in FIFA 22? We look at which leagues players are wishing for and which leagues already have leaks.
Every year, there is much anticipation regarding which areas of the football world will be immortalized in the new FIFA installment. Do the ratings of the favorite players match what one envisions? When will the new ratings come? Is there perhaps a new stadium where one can let their team battle for titles?
Another question is: What new leagues could be included in FIFA 22? It’s no surprise, as leagues play a significant role in FIFA. For example, new leagues can be used as a venue for Career Mode if one does not want to start in the familiar divisions.
Leagues are also important in Ultimate Team. After all, they determine which players can be put on the field together without losing team chemistry.
Are any new leagues already known? So far, there are no official details on whether FIFA 22 will bring new leagues – and if so, which ones. However, there are various leaks and rumors suggesting new leagues.
As soon as there are official information about new leagues, we will keep you updated here.
Leaks point to possible leagues
Which leagues are being discussed for FIFA 22? Several possible leagues are being talked about for FIFA 22. Already in June, due to new leagues that, according to a leak from FUT Watch, were added to the code of FIFA 21, three possible divisions for FIFA 22 were mentioned:
- The English 5th league, the National League
- The Cypriot 1st league
- The Hungarian 1st league
Furthermore, the portal Dexerto points to a possible inclusion of the Brazilian 2nd league and the Indian Super League (via Dexerto).
Especially regarding the Indian Super League, there are even more indications. The sports portal “Khel Now” reported in July that the Indian Super League should be included in FIFA 22, and at that time only details needed to be clarified (via Khel Now). This would be the next step after the ISL was already available in the FIFA Mobile app.
However, it should be noted that individual clubs can also be included in FIFA 22 — without their league. In such a case, they would then end up in the “Rest of the World” section. So it remains to be seen which leagues will ultimately be included.

Which leagues do players wish for? On the platform FIFplay, there is currently also a survey where players can participate regarding which leagues they would like to see in FIFA 22 (via FIFplay). The ranking currently looks like this:
- The Greek league is at the top, with over 65,000 votes
- Following that is the Ukrainian league with over 53,000 votes
- The Hungarian league is in 3rd place, with over 45,000 votes
It is certain, meanwhile, that the new UEFA Europa Conference League will be part of the career mode in FIFA 22, as EA writes on its official website (via EA Sports).
This European competition also needs to be filled with clubs. It seems quite possible that one or another club or even entire leagues will be added as well.
Which leagues will ultimately make it will be revealed when FIFA 22 is released. You can find all information about the FIFA 22 release here.
