Some game series like FIFA, which were originally only playable in single-player or couch co-op, gained online multiplayer modes, connecting players around the world. New types of games developed, which could be played either together or against each other.
Now there is a wide selection of different genres in the field of online games that we can choose from. The mix is very colorful, and logically not all games appeal to all gamers directly.
