World of Warcraft – Battle for Azeroth – The classic
Battle for Azeroth (BfA) is the 7th expansion for the classic online role-playing game World of Warcraft. After recently going to battle against the Burning Legion, war has now erupted again between the Horde and the Alliance.
What innovations does Battle for Azeroth bring?
As always, the new addon for World of Warcraft brings plenty of innovations to the game. Among them are:
- A new story about the war between Horde and Alliance, which will significantly change Azeroth
- The game world will scale with the level of your hero
- New playable allied races will be available for both Horde and Alliance
- PvP servers will be abolished, instead, you can turn on PvP and then only see other players who are also looking to cause trouble
- Instead of your artifact weapon, you will receive the legendary Heart of Azeroth. You can enhance this and upgrade your other gear.
- “Island Expeditions” as mini-dungeons for 3 players. It doesn’t matter which class and role you have. Especially cool: You compete in a race for loot against an NPC adventurer group that acts quite cleverly. There will also be a PvP version.
- Warfronts as simulated Warcraft 3 events. In these, you can participate in major offensives or sieges at specific times.
Who is Battle of Azeroth ideal for?
PvP is definitely not lacking in Battle for Azeroth thanks to the new open PvP mechanic. However, like every expansion for World of Warcraft, BfA offers something for every type of player. Those who enjoy optimizing their heroes will have hours of grinding ahead with the Heart of Azeroth to become even stronger.
For those into fast PvE action, they should enjoy the Island Expeditions. Fans of variety will dive into the new races, and those looking for new challenges in PvE endgame will find joy in the new raids. So, Battle for Azeroth should offer plenty of fun content for all types of WoW fans.
The 7th expansion for World of Warcraft will be released on August 14, 2018, for PC.
