With Star Wars: Jedi – Fallen Order, Respawn Entertainment is working on a new Star Wars game. Not much is currently known, but there will be info and gameplay during the Star Wars Celebration this weekend.
What is Star Wars: Jedi – Fallen Order? The developers of the battle royale shooter Apex Legends are telling a story with their game that is set between Star Wars: Episode 3 and Episode 4.
You take on the role of a Jedi apprentice who survived Order 66 from Emperor Palpatine and is now on the run from the Empire. Darth Vader and the stormtroopers are searching the galaxy for surviving Jedi to finally destroy the Order.

Singleplayer or Multiplayer?
What kind of game will it be? Not much is known about the title yet. It is supposed to be a story-driven action game in which you get the feeling of being a Jedi.
This likely means that we can expect lightsaber battles and also the use of the Force.
What about multiplayer elements? Neither EA nor Respawn have currently commented on whether Star Wars: Jedi – Fallen Order will be a purely single-player game or if it will have multiplayer components.
However, since Electronic Arts discontinued the single-player-focused action-adventure that Visceral Games was working on a while ago to focus on games-as-a-service titles, we can at least assume there will be microtransactions and DLCs.
No one should be surprised if the Respawn title becomes a live service game. We should not expect another battle royale shooter after Apex Legends.
What has been shown so far? Aside from an animated logo as a teaser, there is nothing else to see yet. This teaser shows a broken lightsaber with a very unique design.
More Info at the Star Wars Celebration
When will there be more to see? On Saturday, April 13th at 8:30 PM our time, Respawn Entertainment will present the game in more detail during the Star Wars Celebration. Gameplay is also expected to be shown.
What do Star Wars fans think? As is seen in the comments to the teaser on Twitter, many are so excited that they would pre-order the title immediately.
Others are a bit more cautious and refer to Anthem. Some are wondering what focus the microtransactions will have. We will learn more about Star Wars: Jedi – Fallen Order this weekend.
