It is no secret that Imane “Pokimane” Anys has a large following on Twitch and has thus built a huge community of fans. Nevertheless, it is surprising what price these fans are actually willing to pay to be able to play with their favorite streamer.
What is it about? The Twitch streamer Connor “CDawgVA” Colquhoun launched several online auctions as part of a charity event, in which he offered time with well-known online personalities.
Among them, bids can also be placed for the well-known Twitch streamer Imane “Pokimane” Anys. The highest bidder is to receive an exclusive gaming session with the content creator. On X, CDawgVA posted his surprise at the high bids.
The proceeds are to benefit the Immune Deficiency Foundation, a foundation that supports people with immune deficiencies.

“The only time you can pay to play with me”
This is how the auction went: The starting bid on Monday, July 15, 2024, was precisely one US dollar. But within less than 17 hours, the fans of the Twitch streamer escalated, and the bids shot up. Over 150 bids came together; the highest: 500,000 US dollars (as of July 16).
Pokimane herself reposted the original post on X from Connor and pointed out that this would be the only opportunity to pay to play with her. She thereby further increased the reach of the auction.
It is no wonder that hardcore fans were quickly willing to pay half a million.
Auctions for a good cause
What are the auctions for? The auctions are part of the large CDawgVA Charity Auction, which aims to collect a total of 1.5 million US dollars. The event takes place both online and in person: The Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles is the venue.
The event will also be streamed on July 19 on the Twitch channel of CDawgVA. Streamers Ludwig Ahgren, Pokimane, Jerma, and Pointcrow are the special guests at the event, and even more content creators are providing their items and reach to collect donations.
The content creator Connor initiated these auctions to raise funds for the Immune Deficiency Foundation. In addition to a gaming date with Pokimane, one can bid on a signed Elden Ring poster by Miyazaki or a one-hour League of Legends coaching session with Caedrel.
This is not the first time that the Twitch streamer has raised funds. Last year, he was able to collect over 300,000 US dollars with the same campaign. At his charity event “Cyclothon,” which went into its third round last year, he managed to raise over a million US dollars.
Bidding for the various auctions can still take place until Friday, July 19. Whether Pokimane’s fans will raise their bids again remains to be seen. However, it is certainly possible.
