There is new information about The Division 2 and this time the focus is on the PvE endgame. Spoiler alert: If you absolutely don’t want to know anything about the campaign, you should not read further.
Here’s what it’s about: At a press event last week, participants were able to play the contents of the private beta of The Division 2. Now, there is information about the content. One of the biggest pieces of news revolves around the Black Tusk. This faction is supposed to make your life difficult.
Who are the Black Tusks? Details are not known at the moment. Translated, the name means something like “Black Tusk”. Probably Ubisoft does not want to reveal story details yet.
It is known for sure that it is a particularly dangerous faction that has stronger equipment available than the others. This includes drones and four-legged robots. They are said to be the biggest threat to the Division, but this will likely only be revealed after the story.
Perhaps a mysterious villain from The Division 1 is involved, whose return has already been confirmed?

The Black Tusks invade Washington D.C.
When do the Black Tusks appear? As soon as you finish the campaign in the main game, the “Invaded Missions” will be unlocked. The Black Tusks take control of D.C., and you must drive them out by playing the missions.
From main to side missions, all activities can be taken over by the Black Tusks. But even outside of activities in the game world, you will encounter them.
This increases the difficulty, as they are stronger and more numerous than the other factions. Additionally, the AI is said to act smarter. However, there is also much better loot to be had. It reminds a bit of the legendary difficulty from The Division 1.
It is part of the PvE endgame to defend Washington D.C. against this faction. In a kind of continuous loop, the Black Tusk attempts to conquer places in D.C. and apparently appears again and again in different locations. This is supposed to provide enough variety for PvE players.

Is there more? In an interview with PCGamer, Creative Director Julian Gerighty indicated that this is not all: “Yes, this is a big part, but it is only one of several.”
Furthermore, content after launch is already planned, such as the 8-player raids that are supposed to challenge you, as the developers have already announced. All expansions will be free in the first year.
Ubisoft has introduced the Black Tusks in a video:
Soon you will be able to play the private beta yourself. You can find all information about it:
