How do you define a “good shooter”? What aspects of the game must the developers not mess up under any circumstances? Share your thoughts.
Multiplayer shooters are among the most popular and played genres in gaming. Millions of gamers sit down at their keyboards or pick up controllers in the evening and blow off steam in online matches, whether alone or in teams with their friends.
However, although many shooters use the same gameplay features, we find them to be of varying quality. They differ in the execution of these elements, which have a direct impact on our gaming experience.

This is where our subjective perception comes into play: some of these features hold more importance for us than others, as they have a greater effect on our enjoyment of the game.
While one feature may be crucial for one player, it may be secondary for another.
So let it out: What do you think makes a good multiplayer shooter? What are the absolutely essential gameplay elements that developers must not mess up?
