Are there any singleplayer games that you would really like to see as MMOs? Which ones would they be?
What is this about? Even though we all spend a lot of time in multiplayer games and MMOs, they are not the only games we play. Singleplayer titles are often on our to-play list as well.
Many of them have large worlds and cool settings that offer deep lore and allow for real exploration. And above all, they have the potential to become much bigger.
It has often happened in the past that game franchises that were previously solely focused on singleplayer suddenly received multiplayer content or even became MMORPGs.
Which games do you think could make really good MMOs?
Which players can I suggest? That’s entirely up to you, as long as they are singleplayer.
You can approach the question realistically: Which companies have enough experience and resources to turn their singleplayer titles into MMOs? Which game worlds theoretically meet the most important criteria to be truly successful over the long term?
But you can also dream a little. Do you have a favorite game that you would like to see as an MMO? Which one would it be? Regardless of whether it is new or perhaps already very old and probably will not receive a sequel.
